Do you ever feel that you were in the presence of greatness? I felt that way the first moment I met Sage. Sage is an honored K-9 for the United States of America. She worked Ground Zero during 9/11 (one of the youngest dogs there), in the aftermath of Katrina, Afghanistan, and in the swamps of Iraq.
She is also a survivor of cancer…. Sage will be showcased in my book “Survivors” that will be released Sept. 2010.
A little about the book:
“Survivors – Your Best Friend’s Journey with Cancer”.
Five inspirational stories of dogs with cancer and how they overcame the disease with Medicine, Love and Support.
This book will be released in Sept 2010 and 100% of the proceeds goes to the CSU Animal Center www.csuanimalcancercenter.org and Bow Wow Buddies Foundation www.bowwowbuddies.org
Sage is starting her own foundation to help other “working” dogs that have been retired by government agencies and need assistance with health issues – www.sagefoundationfordogs.org

Sage is 11 years old but you would never know it! She romps around like a 3 year old! What a sweet heart!
Thank you Sage, Diane and Kathy for a beautiful morning in Fort Collins, Colorado!
