Vibrant + Soothing – A fresh mountain morning with two goldens is like sniffing a newly-opened canister of tennis balls (ahhhh). Maui (our hawaiian lady) is a Vibrant extroverted golden that enjoys barking at us if we were going to *s-l-o-w* on the trail and charging poor Chaska. Chaska (with the white face) was just diagnosed with cancer. He is a soothing, sweet boy that would rather hang out in the snow banks by the trail. If he had ear plugs – I think he would use them.
Layers. Layers. Layers. You have to discover Maui. I saw the trees and this shot was just a matter of waiting. Sometimes you need to Envision the shot, Wait (a lot), Pray (pray that the dog cooperates), and Click (just at the right moment). I have taken many a shot with my E-W-P-C process and totally failed. I was lucky today.
Maui is about to charge someone ~ Chaska, Debbie, random bushes, or ME!
