So this is what happens when I bring my husband and kids to a Weimie Meet + Greet…we bring a dog home.
Believe me ~ i really struggle leaving Meet + Greets empty handed – I try to remain neutral and not get attached. I know in my heart that if I release those *floodgates*…wow – every dog would come home with me…*every* dog. I am a sucker.
Bauer was a stray that was found in Kansas. He was 2 days from being put to sleep when Mile High Weimie Rescue saved him. His ears have been badly frostbitten and he seriously needs some *beefing up*. Otherwise he is as sweet as can be!
He loves our kids. He gets along great with our lab (The "Doctor") and he is very curious about the cats. The cats are grouchy old ladies and have decided that they are going to hide in the basement and "wait this one out". Bauer could care less about them and their whereabouts. Go Bauer!
He went on a hike with us + was Awesome with the gentle leader. He was quite the star and everyone had to stop + visit. We dropped his leash once and he came right back. What a good boy!
As soon as I took this shot - I knew Matt was "Hook, Line + Sinker" (geeez).
