Max or Maxwell when he is in trouble (which is a lot according to his owner!) has more energy than any English bulldog that I have ever met! He zoomed, jumped, and tackled after his ball for a full hour. Poor guy! He was Awesome and Hilarious! Check these images out…

Chihuahua Fever

It has been rainy the past few days in Denver so it was nice to see the beautiful sunshine again! The day was even more perfect because I got to spend it with Wynter and her three chihuahuas! We even threw in a Mexican blanket for a few pictures. Frisco, Princess and Chacha were more than happy to party with us in the backyard. Arriba!

Poodle-rific

Poodles are Magnificent. (Ahem….did you see my logo?)

I just had to put that out there. That phrase went through my head as I edited these “Poodle-rific” photos from a studio workshop. My job was to provide the dogs for the photography workshop (pure heaven, right?). The Black Poodle, Poppy was freshly groomed and beautiful for the photo session. Take a peek and let me know what you think? BTW – The “bum” picture is my fav.

Makes me want to get up and dance! Saturday Night Fever anyone?

Well Hello Kaiser! I have met Kaiser before on several occasions (because his mom is usually at Weimie Meet + Greets and because she is so awesome!). Today was Kaiser’s very special day! Pam gave her hubby a gift certificate for his birthday – a photo session for him and Kaiser!

You know you love it Trav! What a beautiful couple!

Honestly, Kaiser has bigger muscles then most body-builders! Check out his moves…

Kaiser is just a happy guy! Look at that *happy weimie* tongue….When I leave this earth, I want to come back as Kaiser…well maybe as a girl “Kaiser” version “thing-a-ma-bob”

Wildly Shy + “Hold on to your Hat” Happy Dogs

The difference between two dogs is sometimes opposite….

Polar Opposite to be exact.

Piper (who was lovingly named after a phish song) was a happy black Newfoundland, retriever, chow “blend” (“blend” is my new word from BlogPaws 2010). He was ready to knock down the door, eat treats, play, eat more treats and then go for a walk.

Asja, on the other hand, had other ideas and they did NOT include me and my camera that “clicks”. Poor Asja! Asja has bone cancer in her hind leg. Her owners wanted some great pictures of her but Asja has always been scared of cameras. Her owner even told me that she runs away when she gets her iPhone camera out to take a pic!

Asja was not “camera ready” that day so we decided that it might be better for me to come back another day on a “secret wildlife mission”.

Yes…a “secret wildlife mission”. This required me to hide in the trees with a giant 70-200 lense on a monopod dressed in black.

I thought about wearing a black cape, with a large yellow beak while hiding in a giant pine tree as I made loud crow noises to let my clients know where I was hiding but it got weird…..just kidding! You know I can’t climb trees…

I did get this picture of Asja…..

I think this was the only time our “wildly shy” dog gave me any type of eye contact.

It was a lot of fun (still working on the crow outfit) and I am excited to try out my climbing technique with my next “secret wildlife mission” client.
