I had the pleasure of meeting 3 beautiful gray dogs (aka Weimaraners) on top of Red Rocks  – Morrison, Colorado. They were full of energy and sweet love! I just love these dogs!

Abby is all about Happiness….

And chewing sticks….

While Havoc was ready for a close-up….

Halo was just happy to be the sweetest gray girl on the mountain….

Well his formal dog name is “Vin De Garde”. I guess the other name in contention was “Rooster”. I kinda like Rooster but I also understand why Vin’s mom shot it down. LOL!

Vin the Vizsla is a 15 month Vizsla puppy that was breed to hunt. He is the sweetest puppy in the world and was more then excited to try my Zukes chicken treats.

He has smooth, floppy puppy ears were to die for!

 Vin’s owner also brought a “chucker” – it is a bird that Vin will be trained to hunt. The term “chucker” was new for me so Mick walked me through how this “pointing” deal works. Vin performed beautifully!

If you have, then you have been to the hometown of Puppa Stew. Yes – P-U-P-P-A    S-T-E-W.

He is a chihuahua/labrador mix with LOTS of energy and adorable floppy ears. He decided in the middle of the session that he didn’t like this leash (or collar) so he slipped both of them off and POOF! he was gone!

After multiple sprints around the Red Rocks Trading Post – Holly’s boyfriend showed up just in time to grab him and help get him back in the safety of his leash and collar. Whew!

If I had a cape in my car – I would have given it to Holly’s man.

The Princess (Bella) seemed so shy and delicate until our first cyclist came by! She chased after him like he had a steak hanging from his neck!

The Ferrari (Enzo) on the other hand was built for speed and play from the beginning. He also has a soft part of his heart for his mom and would do anything to please her (i.e. rolling over multiple times for a treat!)
