When Liz Holzemer submitted a photo to the “Release Your Inner Snow Dog” Contest at the end of February – something in me said that this dog was special. Koufax, a yellow Labrador with a yellow tennis ball in his mouth...  Yesterday was quite a scare for us. My little 12 year old calico, Cali started coughing up blood. I immediately called Dr. Kristine Horst at Mesa Veterinary Hospital in Golden, CO (http://www.yourmesavet.com/) and she took her in immediately. Cali was not so happy to be at the vet (who is?) and would not let anyone...
